FPU
Tonight I heard my husband explain to our table group at church, "I am like an alcoholic, I spend, spend, spend. You may have guessed it. We joined Financial Peace University tonight and at the moment it feels like anything but peace. We were, of course, at a table where just about everyone had their act together and could teach the class if they were as funny as Dave Ramsey. We were there because we are spendaholics and desperately need help. There, I said it out loud. It will be an adventure and I will probably share some of it here. Pray for Bill and I, that we will practice what we hear, and that we will trust God for what He has for us. Contentment, that will be a good thing!

Remember, sometimes others seem like they have it all together, but they are not just there to fill there calenders. I think it is great you guys are doing this course, Russ & I enjoyed our first night as well. We are also spendaholics :)
Believe me when I say...there's a reason Andy and I have committed to FPU, as well as you and Bill (it's not to socialize, lol!) I enjoy that, don't get me wrong...but I'm praying (and obeying) that God's going to work some financial miracles through patience and obedience...boy, that's hard to swallow, isn't it? Glad we're all going through it together :) Thank you by the way...I'm glad you like the new snazy bag, it was such fun to make!
Oh Cyndi!! I feel your pain! FPU..ugh! I will be praying for you big time..remember it DOES get better and you WILL come to love it.."Live like no one else..so you can live like no one else."
